Offered here is a 1980s opal pendant with necklace, one I used to wear often as it is my birthstone (October). Marked 925, all silver is sterling and needs just a tiny bit of polishing but both are in excellent pre-loved condition. The chain measures 18" and carries a nearly 3/4" tall pendant with a 3/8" opal cabochon in its setting. The opal is a very blueblue, sky blue color with dark backing (not sure if this is part of the stone or an applied layer). I always loved it because it reminded me of the seas off the Yucatan. All in clean and in very good condition for its age, with no damage that I can see whatsoever, no soiling as I have rinsed and cleaned it well.

Some things must move on to make room for other things. As Bette Midler once said, "There comes a time when you have to let your clothes go out into the world and try to make it on their own."
