The listing, Win up to 60 8 mm pink and blue EGG beads has ended.

Winner gets 30 of these adorable 8mm egg-shaped sassy pink beads with bright gold and blue swirls, but 60 if the bids hit 300! That's a LOT of beads for your summer creations! These are acrylic, not glass, but gorgeous and brand new, nice and lightweight for earrings or multi-strand necklaces.

Please see my other listings for similar beads with silver metallic accents.

Free US shipping too!

I generally list a few items each night, ending Sunday and Monday nights. I generally list a few items each night ... watch my upcoming listings at http://www.listia.com/profile/auctions/28303!

WARNING to bidders ... many bids placed in the last minute never register. At night, when lots of auctions are ending, Listia's servers get overwhelmed and slow down. If you want something PLEASE place your bid at LEAST two minutes before the auction end--before it's too late!

These are gorgeous and can be used for jewelry or in a knitting project. Just string and knit with the project.

There are books out there that are excellent in showing you how to combine beading and knitting. Surprising results. Knit one Bead Two by Judith Durant is one of a few.

I might try listings some of my small silver beads in the knitting category and include this link ... see what happens. When I have multiple similar items that could qualify for several categories, I try to list one in each just to bring in more potential bidders. The Pandora beads, for example, I sometimes list in beading, necklaces, and bracelets.

You can do it with crochet, too. I made a couple of crocheted bookmarks using 4mm beads in with the stitches. Since I'm a pretty lousy crocheter they're not the greatest, but hey, it can be done, lol. And danceswithscissors (if I have that spelled right) sometimes weaves Swarovski's into her yarn that she spins, so it could probably be done with other beads, too.

My sister was telling me you just have to have the correct yarn and beads, or sometimes you string the beads onto thread and then knit the thread and the yarn together. She made a sweater vest with beads knitted into it when she was here. Very pretty! I also dumped a bunch of those little silver beads into her supplies so she can use those too.
