The battery going out is common on this laptop. I am actually on a Sony Vio right now that has to stay plugged in because the battery is bad. Good luck and I will be watching. Fanned you please fan back.

I would like to say to all the experienced sellers that youre comments are rude and completely unneccesary. Is this how you welcome new people into your church or circle of friends? These poor new members do not deserve to be ganged up on and have their auction torn apart just because some of you have been scammed in the past. I am embarressed by all of the immaturity and rudeness that these so-called adults portray in these comment sections. Not every new member who chooses to post a high priced item is going to scam you with a fake auction. So, to the seller of this auction, I apologize on behalf of my fellow Listia sellers who have humiliated you and made you feel unwelcome. This is such a fun website, one that I happen to dedicate a couple hours a day to, and not everyone who is on here are rude and inconsiderate. So welcome to Listia, and I hope you are not too offended by this high school lunch room drama that these fellow members have pulled you into.

You really do have to verify your account to get more bids though. I have been on less than seven days and have already won an action and had a winner on my first auction for way more than I thought I'd get. If ya need any help let me know and I can tell you what to do to make the bidders happier :) and again good luck!

Still waiting for verification before I bid. At least get verified with your credit card or bank account. That way we know you are over 18 and legitimate! You also need to answer everyones questions to gain trust with us. You want our credits, then give us a little incentive! another question, are there any problems with this laptop? Does it work perfectly??? waiting............ auction ends in 3 days! still waiting................=0)

Well like most of the other serious bidders bidders I give up I don't believe this is a real auction anymore I think it is a scam or she would have verified any one of the times she said she would it's probably a minor that can't verify their account I am flagging this and sending a support ticket to have it removed for a non responding seller

I'm watching this but only so I can flag it when I get to my comp. can't wait til listia makes the mobile iOS version full featured.

lista wants a phone number or for you to make a small credit purchase. It's under 'My listia' I think also there is a help section or faq section. Good luck with only hours til the end...

I am right there with you Alicia341! This is a great place to give and get things for free and there are a lot more nice people on here than mean. I welcome you to Listia with open arms. I am watching and probably bidding too. Would you happen to know the model Vaio that this is? It would help for researching a new battery. There are a lot of vaio models and batteries are different prices.
Thank you and
God Bless

So sorry, I found the model number listed. I didn't read through all of the comments because they were rude. I found the battery for $27.00 on ebay with a 1 year warranty.

For those of you taking this seller's side, I'll have you know that Listia removed the obscenity he called me. I wish they hadn't so you could see the business tactics this seller used.

We experienced sellers did not begin our inquiries impolitely. This seller escalated them into an argument. Evidentally, Listia chose to remove them.

This seller may be legit but questions were asked to reassure us. All of his rants have been removed, probably after Listia told him to get his act together. I noticed a distinct change of tone since I last visited this page.

Sigh. This was Listia's FB featured auction. Lately all their big items seem to be from unverified, no feedback or transactions yet, sellers.

It’s HIGHLY recommended that you write your Listia username on a piece of paper and have it next to your item when you take a picture of it. It adds bidder confidence that you in fact have this item in your possession.

While this isn't a requirement, this is requested so that sellers get higher bids from more bidders, and for the protection of our users who might be interested in bidding on your item. It'll also prevent your auction from getting flagged by users. We don't want your auction to get deleted for seeming like it's not real.

Also, to reply to a comment you can click on the reply button just below the right side of the comment box.

Thanks for your cooperation and good luck with your auction!
