It is sewn into the front seam of her neck. If you have skills, you could open the seam and probably take it off and resew seam, but I obviously can't guarantee it would that "easy".

Anything wrong with them or are they like new? Is the GIN unicorn the same size? I know its a mystery but it would be for two sisters and I wouldn't want them to upset about the size difference. Thank you so much!

They are like new. Thrift store rescues. Clean and expected thoroughly. No, they are not the same size, but the bonus one is just as, if not more, beautiful because she has wonderful colors.
