This is a brand new genuine ammonite fossil and sterling silver pendant that 2 1/4" X 1 1/4". It is stamped .925. It has a bird on the top.

Ammonites were sea creatures that lived in the seas between 240 and 65 million years ago when they became extinct along with the dinosaurs. So this is not only a beautiful piece of jewelry, it's a real conversation piece, and of course no 2 are alike.
