In addition to network sharing, the Belkin F5D7231uk4 allows users to share printer devices, hard drive data, and music files with one another through individual computers. Users may add up to 32 additional computers to a wireless network with network cards. This wireless G router features a high-speed mode (HSM) that can achieve faster network speeds than a standard 802.11g system, achieving a better overall network speed even when other 802.11g units in use. In addition, the versatile Belkin wireless router HSM technology can be operated between other wireless devices. The wireless G router has a maximum data transfer rate of 125 Mbps with its DNLA-certified Wireless G technology. A NAT firewall is provided for the Belkin F5D7231uk4 that includes content and IP filtering, MAC address filtering, and SPI for maximum security. LED status indicators show the current activity levels, link status, and power consumption of the Belkin wireless router.
