Description

The listing, NetGear FireWall Router has ended.

NETGEAR’s ProSafe VPN Firewall FVS114 provides business class protection. Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) stops major Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. Intrusion Detection alerts you to hackers and attacks.
You can get the full details of this firewall router at: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1402
If you have any question just ask. I had to get this router for a college computer course project and used it for one week. I just do not need it any more. I have enough routers around here already. :-)

Do you have the power cord and user manual? Is it working? Does it run hot?

I have a power cord. My spouse though out the box thinking I did not need it, the manual was in it still. But you can get the manual here: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1707 Yes it works, and all routers get warm. This is in a metal case so it feels warmer to the touch then the plastic encased ones do. The case actually helps disperse the heat.

And by the way, it is a router and switch, not a router and hub. So yes it is a switch but it is also a router.
