it has an elastic band/rubber band string that locks your hair into place. i'll try to get a picture.

Is this a perm? or will it stay for a couple days the go back to your normal hair type.?

what do you mean? they are rollers? if you want to use them for a perm you could but i don't use them for a perm. i put setting lotion and then roll it. you can wash the curls out whenever you want.

To answer her question, they are the proper rollers you would use for a perm you would have to get the chemicals seperatly... I wish I had enough credits for these, I am in beauty school and these would be perfect!!
