I agree, I bid on the things that are nice, but things I wouldn't not normally spend the money on because it is to expense or don't have the money, or I'd rather spend it on my kids than myself. even though we all have paid out a lot of money for shipping our auction items on here, it don't seem as bad or maybe I don't feel as guilty if I win it on listia. If that makes since!!

Is it wise for me to think that the higher the bid is the better the item is that they will receive? As an example: someone's bid maybe 6 or 8,000 credits, you surely wouldn't give them a silver, kinda plain ring would you? I am hoping that the "secret" item wouldn't correspond with the bidding. Yea i saw the ipad listia has on here and i did the math to see if its even worth to buy the credits and it comes out cheaper just to go to the store to buy it. But that's if you have the money.

and that's so true! Just yesterday a small girl was killed because she ran out on the road by her self and the driver claimed she thought it was a "dog" just so heart breaking :(

There should be a test to become a parent, LOL. I see 4 & 5 year old kids running up and down the street by themselves and parents wonder why my kid got kidnapped or hit by a car,,, ect well duh and I work for Childrens Hospital. and well I'll leave it at that. we live in a sad world:(

Have you seen the recent news story where they pulled up security camera at the day care and they caught an older boy there was punching the little toddlers and kicking them. So terrifying. And than one of the parent saw the video and came in there and beat up the bully kid and ended up attacking the wrong boy :-/
