yes you can get instagram out caause so it is an app and this is a smart phone they are very good phone so good tht the touch screens will still work wen the whole screen is spider webbed from being dropped or some other incident i know cause my phone droid3 is in tht current state and still works 100% fine no prob out of touch screen or anything these really are good tough phones droids1-3 tht is i have had all three this one and the droid 3 was my fav got a lil over 8k in creds i might bid on this love the phone and great auction fanned and watching

and about the question Veranya_lopez had asked "Does It Have The Market or Google Play Store ??" it is no longer android market place they have upgraded and or switched to google play store and usually if your phone has android market it will automatically update to google play store unless u have automatic updating disabled but google play is they way to go i think

I don't think it has the market or google play store because I never downloaded that, nor do i know what it is. It has 2 bible downloads, a drawing one and facebook.

It was on a Verizon contract but you can take it in to any Cell Phone City locations and they will do pre-pay if you prefer.
