What's the difference in the two? I desperately need shipping materials. My
Listia buddies aren't too happy with how
long they've been waiting for their items. Can you fill me in on what might fit in them, what items you might put in them, are they for breakables? Books ok? Thanks!! I'm still trying to get the shipping part of listia down, I can't figure out all the pricing and stuff. Maybe you can help me

SHIPPING 101
Poly mailers are great because they are safe, water resistant, tough, private, and extremely lightweight, therefore cheaper to ship.
The small will fit a small paperback book. The medium will fit several, or a video, movie etc...the larger sizes are great for clothing, or any non-fragile item.

I recommend an assortment to start, so you get an idea of the sizes with which you are working.
Do yourself a favor, buy a postage scale!
Anything flat and under 1/4" thick should be mailed as a letter, they are cheaper to send than packages. Up to 3/4" is considered a large letter. See USPS.com for exact sizes and info.
NEVER send a bulky object in a regular envelope, you will have to pay package rates anyway, and it will probably be lost when the sorting/routing machine eats it.

So let's say I wanted to know why the postage was on one of my items when I hit exact shipping. My problem is I can't figure out how to give people quotes on different items, other then the items I can just throw on a regular envelope. I've never done this before:) Thank you do much for your input and advice. It's priceless:) Or... Creditless:)
