This auction is for MARVEL Comic's Hulk 2099 #3, Direct Edition, January 1994 "Water God."

This comic is in NM condition and will come bagged and boarded. This comic is also a double-feature with a Spider-Man 2099 issue titled "Spare Changes."

After a nuclear accident causes radiation to spread across America, the desperate survivors attempt to travel to California, where the environment is supposed to be protected. Except that California's an island cut off from the rest of America by a man made canal that's also a moat. The weary travelers try to swim across and are unaware of the fully automatic machine gun turrets protecting the boarder.

Suddenly Hulk 2099 comes to save the helpless swimmers. After bringing them to shore, the Water God, a 20 foot-tall Titan of the sea, arises to kill the surviving swimmers.
The Hulk steps up for some smashing, but soon realizes that physical attacks won't hurt this self-proclaimed god.

How can he beat this elemental monstrosity?
