The picture which you can clearly see if you use the enlarge feature shows that even though it is red, it can be used also for Valentine's Day. These are such handy little bags. Sorry they are so late. They were lost in the mail and had to be resent. I am still waiting on one Christmas set. These are super great for children to take a little bag of candies to the teacher just as an example.

Sorry for such a late response. I was at the dentist. When closed they are 3" X 2 3/4". they are perfect for candies, jewelry, a home baked cookie in someone's lunch box as a surprise. The mason jar ones are bigger 4" high by 2 3/4" wide. The pink Christmas ones and the red Christmas with Santa that say Merry Christmas closed are 4" X 4". The Christmas red with a green back are also 4" X 4". Also the red Christmas with a Christmas white Christmas tree are 4" X 4". I also just received some everyday ones that I am going to list right now that are clear with a oink flower that are 4" X 4". The yellow smile ones closed are 3" high X 2 3/4'. Happy to answer your question. I really should have listed the closed sizes. Going to list the new ones for 21 days but a Gin so you can get any of them any time. Thanks and hope this was a help.
