I have one and it is very cute and compact. If you need to touch up your make up during the day it will easily if in your bag with the make up.

The make-up bag is only big enough for the brush to go into. It is intended to store the brush to keep it clean.

Glad that helped, The bag is soft, but it will offer protection for the brush while in your bag. This way the brush keeps its shape, as well.
