Canon EOS Rebel 2000 W/date back SLR 35mm film camera In excellant condition Used very little I don't know alot about the camera It was my wifes and she took very good pictures with it It comes with batteries 2 rolls of film 2 Lenses Canon zoom lens EF 35-80mm 1:4-5.6 and a Canon zoom lens EF 80-200mm 1:4.5-5.6 both lenses have front and rear lenses caps the camera body has a body cap it comes with the instruction manual that tells everything you need to know to start shooting pictures the camera has 8 picture taking modes full auto to full manual and everything in between this seems to be a really nice camera my wife got this camera in 2004 and always took very good care of it this would be a very nice camera for anyone going with it I have a Canon Power Shot S110 Digital ELPH 2.1 MPixel works good have everything that goes with it rechargeable battery battery charger instructions manual 2 usb cables and a CD rom and a 256 mb picture card it has a zoom

Questions & Comments

Will you take extra care on packaging this very well? Meaning each lens bubble wrapped individually as well as the camera's? Also if this goes over 10,000 will you ship with a large flat rate priority box with DC to insure fast and safe shipping? I ask this because I have won a few camera's on here and a few were really damaged when received due to poor packing/packaging.Please use lots of tape on outside of box to insure nothing falls out of box lol ( lens did not make it the camera did lol) I have a love for camera's and would love to have this one and the lens in nice working condition. If you agree to this I will def spend much more credits. Thanks for the great auction and I hope to win it :)

First the batteries for this camera are CR-2s I got 2 of them for $5.99 on E-bay with free shipping I think if you read my last statement I said the lenses were EF mount And fit All canon EF mount Film or Digital And when I ship anything I always take great care when packing so the buyer will recive the item in good working condition I've never had a package lost or broken yet I always ship UPS With a tracking number and insurance I always take extra care packing things like this I'm smart enough to know I'm not going to put it in a big envelope and put it in a mail box

I personally use old school 1960s/ 1970s film cameras I never used these cameras they were my wifes I do know that these lenses won't work on ony manual camera I think they are EF mount and the lenses have a switch on them marked AF for autofucus/MF for manual focus so you can put the camera on Automatic and The camera does everything for you even focus and on Manual the camera still does things But you manually focus the camera I know this is a kind simple way to answer and the camera works alot better than this sounds My wife said If I'd just try and give up the old ways I might like it Well I guess I'm to old school I do know that these lenses are suppost to work on both Canon EOS Film and Digital cameras and I'm not sure but some other Digital cameras I'm sure there are alot of people that know more than I do about these cameras than I do but I have the instruction manuals for both cameras that tells everything someone needs to know to operate them

Batteries for this camera are $20 a pop at local stores and it takes 2 the part number for the battery is CR-123 same as my Canon Rebel EOS :)

Just so you know EF is a mount that works with Canon camera's only. They do make adapters for just about anything but it will reduce quality. They do that so they make more money (surprise) Nikon lens fit Nikon camera's only same with Canon.

Dang, was hoping was same battery :( yes on ebay they are cheaper, still $20 locally for Duracell. As for the lens. I did say that they will only fit a Canon EF mount which is correct. Yes they work on an slr ef and dslr ef mount. It is the same mount lol.Still biding and watching. Good luck and thanks again!

do you have any idea if the lenses would also fit a manual slr, like yashica fx-2 or fx-3. What type of mount are they both? You said the work in both manual and automatic? Sorry so many questions, i'm used to manual slr and not familiar with automatic. This is a great auction. And thank you for your time in responding to my questions.

The Canon Rebel 2000 works great all functions work The lenses are clear no scratches dust and fungus free the lenses funtion properly they hane a switch for auto focus /manual focus when the auto function ion the camera is on and the lenses is switched to AF it works it takes 2 CR2 batteries I'm sending 2 new batteries and 2 rolls of film with the camera
