No, it is cards that work with an eReader. The eReader hooks into your gameboy. So, you have to have an eReader for these to work.

You need an eReader for these to work. If you look in the 2nd photo I have posted, it shows a black "adapter" (eReader) that plugs into the gameboy. Than you slide the cards & it reads the card & allows you to play the game. Don't know much about it. My son has an eReader & I bought a bunch of these card sets when my local KMart went out of business. These are the extras he didn't need. Thanks again :o)

I actually had one of these. If you type in these words, gameboy ereader - on ebay, then you will see what it looks like or view this image link I got off the internet: http://www.gameliquidation.com/popup_image.php?pID=600&osCsid=cdf6eaa734d430bf45fffecf4c2d8ed4

Its basically an adapter that you can add to your gameboy advance system. I would think you can use it for gameboy sp & ds systems as well, but only if the adapter is compatible with these systems.

To sum it up: You take the cards(similar in size to regular collectible cards), and swipe the cards into the ereader adapter. By swiping, you basically unlocking a game that is on these cards. Its 'OLD SCHOOL' gaming. The ereader didn't last very long and if I remember correctly, maybe less than 20 card games were made? But, I can't remember.... Hope this helps your auction out...
