Its a fiber optic cable that you hook to a surround sound in order to have colby digital sound.
I can tell paramorechris isn't an audiophile. This is a Toslink (fiber optic) digital audio cable, and it is definitely not outdated... It is the best way to get audio from your device (Blu-ray, game console, etc.) to your stereo receiver.
maybe this company was sending out samples to people who requested them I get so many samples in the mail I dont remember what i ordered half the time lol
It is a fiber optical audio connection cable...Mostly used on Surround Sound systems for TV and Computers and some Gaming systems...They are still in demand, but as stated above, they were not pushed too hard and most folks have no clue about them unless they are hardcore techies...
