About these auctions:
The "Unsung Heroes" lots celebrate retired MLB players (who were still active aftr 1980) who were either very popular or put up sensational career numbers without garnering election to the Hall of Fame. These are Cy Young Winners, MVPs, guys with over 2000 hits, guys with 300+ homeruns, hometown heroes, you name it. Many of them deserved induction into the Hall, some stayed on the ballot for years, and came up just short.
If there is an "Unsung Hero" who you'd like to see featured in a lot, let me know. I have an extensive collection here to select from, and so long as I am able, I can get together a lot of your favorite player to put on here.
