I bought these pins IN THE LATE 80s when Jay Jacobs opened their first store in the San Joaquin Valley. They've been stored in a drawer and in the same Jay Jacobs box they were purchased. The store had a large display of their fashion jewelry to pick and choose to create your own jewelry wardrobe. In grad school, a new wardrobe was not an option but I still needed to look professional so the next best thing was accessorizing. Moreover, especially today when money is tight, the same holds true. These pins/brooches can update a look and add a little bling to a sweater, suit, or coat without breaking the bank. These are very durable. I had bought a fourth pin that I had on a leatherette jacket for 20 years and just recently tossed it because it had lost its finish. I wish they still made durable stuff like this.

All are metal with a silvertone finish. The fasteners are very tight and straight eliminating the fear of loss. Each are substantial in size (2.5" to 3") and weight (2-5 oz.), so these are a great accessory for blazers, coats, jackets, sweaters, and even scarves. These all three pins/brooches will be shipped in the one original Jay Jacob box (as pictured) that they have been occupying for the last 20+ years (damn I'm old). The lid is burgundy with silver wavy stripes and the Jay Jacobs signature logo.



Give them as a group with an added scarf for a wardrobe gift or separate for individual three gifts. In any scenario, these pins/brooches make a statement and you cannot beat the price for the quality.
