The kids I watch love little surprises & I'm on a tight budget but postage doesn't cost much to mail bookmarks to most places so I list bookmarks to earn ink on here & bid on small things the kids like. They feel it kinda makes up for not having a lot of birthday & Christmas gifts because it's kinda like having birthday & Christmas year round.

awwww,that is so nice ! I love kids and when I go to basket bingo,i always carry presents in my bingo bag in case they don't win,its a small group so not many kids go,just us ole gramas:-)ha! so it makes their day.

That's a neat idea. Usually I stick small stuff in my tote bag with library books & often wait to get the smaller stuff or things not intended for a 2 yr old to get his hands on til after he is down for his afternoon nap or put them in the tote bag with coloring pages for the kids to use during church, my church is on summer break except Sunday school so no children's church. I find coloring pages that suit each child's interests & a few that are just plain fun on google & crayola.com

Thanks. I enjoy being able to give the kids small stuff periodically, sometimes it's just a package of dum dum suckers or gummy bears or their favorite cookies or chips whatever, thankful the kids appreciate the little things people do.
