Description

The listing, Tatting Pattern Books 1909 by Priscilla has ended.

The book is not cut in half. I have to do that so it will fit on listia. I know the shipping looks high, but I am just breaking even because I laid out a bundle to get these. They are 36 pages so the postage is higher and I paid ove a hundred dollars to get a few of them. I have a loot of ladies want to do tatting. So I paid more than I could afford for these43. So don't complain. Just don't bid. There is book #1 and book #2 from 1909 which is over a hunbdred years ago! If you win the bid you can take your choece of them. If you want both of them you can have them for $12. That is the best I can do. I can't decide which I like best. They are both so good. I have 5 tatting books listed in 4 ads. That is more tatting than you can find in almost any other place. If you are crazy about tatting and want them all, I can send all 5 of them in one big heavy package for $19.99

Does this one and do the others have directions on how to learn to tat? I have always wanted to learn to tat, but never have found good, clear directions on how to begin. It is a beautiful form of "needlework"!

yes they do . In facrt of of the tatting books have a beginner's section. I have a lot of interest in tatting. Many people have heard of it but few can do it. It is the one thing I don't do either. If I had the time, I would learn too. I have lots of yarn to knit and am currently working a crocheteditem for a gift to be followed by a knitted one alsdo for the same family. As I tell my son, I have only 2 hands! I knew a lot of crocheters in my childhood, a few knitters and NO tatters. I want to help keep it alive.

I only heard of tatting a ouple of days ago. After doing a searh I realized that I had seen examples of the work beore, I had mistaken it for a type of crohet or knitting. ould you tell me what projets are in the two different books so I can get an idea of which one I want to choose? Should I win.
