The listing, The Last Creature Card? #30 "Splotch Monster" Edition. Original Artwork by Rhonda Chase (1x1) has ended.

This auction is for Creature Card #30 in the Splotch Monster Edition. Due to unfortunate circumstances dealing with the post office. This may be the last Creature Card for only 6 months of cards. :(

"Splotch Monsters" are a creation of the artist Steve Loya. He has been making one a day for much longer than I have. Thanks to the Listian who brought his work to my attention. This month will be in honor of his work.

The card will be finished the day of the posting. This card is a special size of 1 inch x 1 inch square. You receive the original work of art and not a copy.

My goal with this project was to spread art around the globe and what better place then here, at what better price then free! I attempted to make and post a new card every day for the whole year, but due to governmental shipping bureaucracy will be at minimum stalled at 6 months.

I encourage the winning bidder to give the creature a name if they like :) (and any other information about the character such as gender, scale and any other defining attributes they choose)

I retain the copy write to the image. I will be working in July to compile all the images and stories into a book!

The current goal for the project is to put it on hold. I will work on the coloring book and compilation book of the last six months. Hopefully I can sell enough of them and support cards to continue the project. I will post updates on my website as things change. Thank you all for a wonderful 6 months.

Please dont give up...just use packing tape around the envelopes like i suggested...this is way to cool of a project and youve come to far to give up now just cause of some losers messing with the mail!!

So the plan is to pause things and make the coloring book and half way compilation book. Then the sales from those books can go to finish the project. It's not a perfect plan but at least things don't just end.

Thank you so much for your well wishes. It's also nice to know people read my blog lol. I will be posting a positive update when all the cards close. I have hope that the project will continue in the future in one format or another :) I've been toying with the idea of giving them away for a time just from my blogs in a raffle sort of way...
