I just got off the phone with customer service. They've discontinued this product and they've shut down the server which is necessary in order to download the games. Customer service told me there is "nothing they can do."

Stinks :(

Whoever gets this if not completely satisfied can let me know. If they discontinued then why is it still being sold? They are getting the product from somewhere. Thanks for the info.

Sorry to put that out here, but bidders should know what to expect. Wanted to get it for my son, but not if it doesnt work. Apparantly there are also alot of errors when trying to use install and register the product online

I gave my niece one and she has had no issues. This is sealed in package and I will not open. When I list new products they are for the listians to open. I have had no negative feedback on these and this is the third one that I have listed.

I was looking up info on this and seen it on Amazon.com and it does state that is is discontinued by the manuafacturer. It still gets sold in many second hand type stores though as they are capable of getting away with selling discontinued items. Most stores like Walmart and such will continue to sell off old stock as quick as they can just to get a penny or two back but will quickly toss them down to second hand stores. Dosn't state how long it's been discontinued though. Obviously over a year ago though as this is one of the comments posted for feedback for this item:

"I contacted Mattel customer support to be told this was a discontinued item and the server for the required updates had been shut down in January 2011"

I'd just pull this auctioned item to save the risk of members filing a dispute.

I purchased both of these from Amazon less than a month ago so if they new then why are they still selling. I will be asking them. To get the auction removed will take a while so I am just going to post credits will be refunded to the winner based on the new information

Discontinued or not, someone could enjoy this game kit. I think it looks like an art tablet, but I'm not really certain if it has that capability.

Once the item has been returned to me I will refund credits if you are not satisfied. I have boughten one for my niece and she loves it the other was tested by a button and has a connection to put into an MP3 and may not be able to download apps but should work for other. The item will be returned and as soon as I recieve back in the mail the credits will be refunded.
