The listing, Mimosa (Silk) Tree Seedling X 1 seedling has ended.

These Mimosa tree seedlings are growing up all over my yard from one Mimosa tree I have. The first 2 pics are of just a few that I will choose from to send to the winner. A seedling is easier to grow than a seed and you don't have to wait to plant it. Put it where you want it to grow big and tall.

It is a fast growing deciduous tree that has a low branching, open, spreading habit and delicate, lacy, almost fern like foilage. The fragrant, silky, 2" pink and white, puffy, pompom blooms show from late April to July.

Spread - 25' - 35'
High Drought Tolerance

I have looked again and found numerous sites that say zones 6 - 10. Sorry my friend. You could always try it and hope that you can get it established before a very cold winter. I don't know. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

You can try if you want to take the chance. Maybe if you protect it from wind and keep it in full sun.
