Free to a good home: 2 cards from 1965 Topps:
#43 MIKE SHANNON (Cardinals)
#317 DON McMAHON (Indians)

That's right, FREE 1965 Topps cards from one of their most famous vintage sets.
The Mike Shannon card is off center (see picture) but still has very nice corners. Nice surface and clean back!
The Don McMahon card has a corner crease, bottom right but is still a nice card.

There are a lot more where these came from, John. I kept a lot of that lot, but I think i have about 70 cards to list, not counting the 1965 Topps Embossed.

My personal opinion: if he found it in a box from a shop and it wasn't offered special protection in that condition, it was probably a reprint. A shop owner would have known to seclude/protect a NR-MT Mantle. I would have still bid 10K on it as a conversation piece. That was an awesome auction, I hope everyone comes out happy ... both the seller and ... wasn't it ocfrank who won that?
