Description

The listing, Healthy Beautiful Java fern Freshwater Plant has ended.

Beautiful healthy java fern. In the aquarium the Java Fern should be tied with strings to a rock or log until they attach. They grow at a relatively slow to medium pace, therefore making this an easy plant to keep, and can reach a maxium height of 10 inches. You will see better results if you tie the roots to drift wood or rocks instead of planting the roots. Should be able to grow in even low lighted tanks.Plants are approximately 4 inches high and have 4 or more leaves. GIN purchase gets 3 - plants

hi there - I missed your response to my last comment on your last plant auction - someone must have used gin...anyway, will my algae eater eat these like it's done with all the other plants in the tank (except for the big sword...)

I'm not sure what kind of algae eater you have, but I have several chinese algae eaters and they are not plant eaters, they will clean the algae off the plants but do not eat them. What other kinds of fish do you have in the tank?

Just to let all the bidders know, I recently won a few of these plants from nascar4poodles & I love them. :) I have 2 of them in a 20 gallon with countless fancy guppies & a plecostomus. The plecostomus sucks the algae off sometimes but the guppies refuse to touch it & no one has caused any damage. :) I also have 1 in a 10 gallon with 2 guppies & no problems there either. I am so glad I finally found a plant that my fish won't eat!! Lol!
