This is a lie the box and item are not the same different models as for the speeds not 300 once again just the model as for the coax cable you can see in picture 7 its a wireless cable gateway

yea the pic on the box does not show a coax cable and the router has one and the pic also shows a router with sharp corners instead of rounded corners like the router actual router in the pic. I am not calling you a lier but I would like to know if this is a router and if it is the router that the box shows. I will bid high if you can prove to me that it is a router and not just a gateway and that it is the router that the box shows. Just saying. I look closely at the pictures and look at the details.

Also on the top of the atual router there are what looks to be air holes near where it says netgear and the one on the box does not show this. What is the deal with that?

The model number on the box is N300. The model on the actual item is CG300D. The item says right on it that it is a "Wireless Cable Gateway", which is different then a router. Just because you pulled this box out of your closet with that router was in it does not mean it is the correct box. Not sure if you are intentionally trying to mislead bidders, or if you honestly just don't know you're stuff, but I have flagged this auction either way. Know what you are listing before you list it!

Yes you can use it with cable, DSL and modem and Ethernet! Check back also I'm listing a few more! I ended buying these and I ended up with too many !

pic on box does not show usb, yet your pic does? also coax does not fit with pic on box.

this is a combo cable modem / router gateway. definitely not the same one on the box. will not work with dsl, only cable. you can google the model # cg3000d to get more info. i would check with your isp to see if they accept this gateway. if you have cable and your isp supports this model, it is a very nice piece of equipment.
