The listing, MIKE TROUT ROOKIE CARD has ended.

2011 Topps Update Mike Trout Rookie Card #US175 NEAR MINT Condition. This card has a light indentation in the glossy finish which I would categorize as a micro flaw. Only visible upon close inspection. It's on the upper right edge of the card between the top of the bat and the Topps logo. Would probably grade as a PSA 8 or 9.

Trout is a two time American League MVP. American League Rookie of the Year in 2012. Mike is a Seven Time All-Star.

Counterfeit cards are NOT REPRINTS. They are illegally reproduced cards of copyrighted material. When I come across a counterfeit, I either use it to aid in the prosecution and exposing of a counterfeiter, or I simply destroy the card. There is no place in the hobby for counterfeit cards. Many sellers will try to market them as reprints or scam buyers into believing they are real originals. Let me be perfectly clear. An illegally reproduced card is NOT a reprint, it's a counterfeit, and it is a crime to sell them.

Amazing card! Looking to bid. Wondering if you could help me out tho a bit too. I see a lot of these online listed for cheap but they say they are reprints. Do you know how to spot a reprint vs the real deal? The pictures people post look identical to what i believe to be originals.

Sadly, counterfeiters are getting better and better at reproducing high end cards. If you Google about spotting counterfeit Trout Rookies, there is a lot of advice from the Pro's about what to look for. Some of the differences are microscopic. A good rule of thumb when shopping is to buy from someone you know and trust, or someone with an established good reputation. That said, even I have been victimized with decades of experience, I bought a Pete Rose Rookie that I believed to be genuine. It can be frustrating. Reprints are actually legitimate cards that are reproduced by the manufacturer. Every reprint will have a disclaimer on it stating that it is a ' Reprint '. I have no problem with reprints, I don't personally collect them, but they are legit.

Id suggest if your going to get a reprint get one from the many legit topps sets like bergers best or topps rookie history,& remember if its to good to be true it often is!
