Dear, The watch is not by Quartz, quartz is the type of watch it is. It is either mechanical or quartz. Quartz means it is an electronic watch and keeps good time but needs a new battery every so often. Mechanical means it has gears and springs and needs winding or it quits. The make of the watch is at the face top and in your case reads ??ME (can't quite read it).
