Many people do not know about these Position A & B Presidential dollar coins. When looking at the obverse side up and the edge of the coin, Position A has the lettering upside down and Position B has the lettering right side up. This makes for two different varieties of the same coin. This is a random occurrence that happens in the third step of making a coin when the coin is flipped over to make the edge lettering.
