distance is like 10-15 ft away with walls blocking signal with other devices running off same frequencey as the router.

I will say this & i have experienced this myself. If you have two routers 1 with Wireless G & 1 with wirless N & you have them bridged & it seems like theres a difference between bridging the wireless G to the wireless N & doing it vice versa. because when I had two routers [[incase yall wondering. my brother in law wanted to have a router in his room so he doesnt have to run a cable from his room to the router(he had no wireless adapter at the time i did so he ran it to his wireless N router while it was still bridged & I got higher than 54Mbps even when the adapter of mine was connected to the wireless N {someone else was connected to the wireless G by themselves} I was thinking like isnt it supposed to be running at 54Mbps since it would take the highest speed of G on both routers but it didnt. it still took the ones of the wireless N)]] Sorry for the long comment by the way gr8 auction.

just so you all know if you want the 450 Mbps as stated you have to be running off a N-Wireless router that streams that speed or you will only get what the router is designed for most are B/G 54Mbps

this only gets you 2 sighnal bars cause thats what i use but it makes your desktop wireless and you gotta surf off someones internet thats unsecured

regardless of what you have, it has nothing to do with getting 2 bars, and you dont have to surf off of somone elses internet. most people have their own broadband that they use it on, and some people also use therm in apt complexes where it is free to connect. regardless, your statement was a bit off. people need to understand what this is before they bid. It is a HIGH END WIFI CARD

I don't understand the question. Its an adapter for wifi... the network you connect it to is up to you... its not a wireless 3g cell phone adapter. That's different all together
