-Aguirre was a reliever for his first 7 seasons before the Tigers converted him to starter in 1962. He responded by leading the league in ERA and making the All Star team in 1962. He was a starter for about 4 years before they converted him back. Hank pitched 10 of his 16 MLB seasons with the Tigers.
-Klippstein was a well travelled pitcher who spent 18 seasons in MLB. A spot-starter and long reliever, he won over 100 games in his career, and he led the league in saves in 1960.
