Description

The listing, Soft Flex Beading Wire *THE BEST* ~Win up to TWO NEW unopened rolls~ Gold & Champagne colors! has ended.

Win your CHOICE, or BOTH at 5,999 credits or more ... Soft Flex beading wire, medium weight, 10 feet UNOPENED packages ... gold or champagne (sort of a soft copper color~see second photo).

These retail for at least $7 each, a $14 value for about what you'd pay for $6-$7 gift card. Soft Flex is the BEST brand you can buy. It is metal, strong as steel and will NEVER break, but will NOT kink as you work with it. It is the ONLY brand of beading wire I use.

These are the ONLY rolls of color Soft Flex I have, so bid for them if you want them! The first two photos are the rolls of Soft Flex you will win. The remaining photos show just a few of my HUGE selection of beads and findings for jewelry makers!

It's SO easy to browse my listings!

I have some regular soft flex but I hesitate to give it up. I know I'll never use these colored ones so that's why I decided to list them. I was listing 10 feet of it (cut from a larger roll) a few months ago. Maybe I'll do that again. I never have time to bead any more so little by little I'm getting rid of things I know I'll never use.

I spend all my time on Listia, honestly, and I enjoy it. I have a couple of really wonderful big stone beads I'd like to make something with, but it's such a production to get it all out and find a place to spread out. I made earrings all the time with the cute little dangles I have. But I've also got a TON of jewelry I've made that just sits in baggies, so I hesitate to make more. I should give some of it away but no one in my family likes it as gifts. Hardly seems worth putting them together!

I have put some of my jewelry on Listia. Everyone loves it but there is SO much jewelry on Listia that most doesn't get a lot of bids, unless is is solid gold or something. So it's usually not worth the effort or the free shipping, unfortunately. If I listed a bunch of them all at one time, that might work though.

No, can't sell jewelry there either, almost any web site is overwhelmed with handmade beaded jewelry. It's just not worth the fees and shipping, but I have fun making it.

Have you seen my other beads and findings? I have a nice selection for jewelry makers. Browse the whole list really easily:
* Search natahoa
* Specify the Arts & Crafts category to see only my beads and findings.
* List them "ending soonest" to see what is ending this weekend, often very nice bargains!

Aw thanks, but I've tried it and it's a bust. Just too much of it out there. It's more fun to make it than to try to sell it, that's for sure! They make nice gift though!

Thanks, Soft Flex is nice beading wire, have you used it before? I have plenty of the "plain" grey color Soft Flex and I know I'll never use these, so hopefully someone else can enjoy them.

Try Yardsellr...my things don't move extremely fast, but it is so simple to maintain and I have made enough sales to make some extra cash and to keep me motivated! It's always nice to know someone enjoys your work enough to purchase it. Also your work far exceeds mine so I am positive you would have a good response especially based on mine....lol

I used yardsellr a few weeks ago for a few listings, and actually sold a few items, but just my beads and findings, not finished jewelry. Thanks for your advice, I should try it I guess. My past experience listing finished jewelry has been so abysmal I always believe it will just be a waste of time though.

I bought a set of beads like 3 layers once from JoAnnsFabric and craft and it has the plastic like sting holding on the beads what would I use to end the three so I could put a clasp on each end..I hope you have it or sell it and what is it called and if you sell this stuff what is your website?
thanks

The beads are attached to the string so you can't take them off? If you can remove the beads, I would restring them on beading wire. The plastic could break easily, particularly at the ends when you attach the clasps.

You will need a clasp set, a large round jump or split ring. Attach each of the three strands to the split ring at both ends, then attach clasps. I don't have clasps on Listia but I could send you a couple of sets. Just GIN one of my listings and I'll swap whatever you won for some clasps. But really, that plastic string they use to sell the beads is not good beading wire. You should restring them.

Thanks so much. Soft Flex is the BEST beading wire, but I know I will never use these colored beading wires. I just use the plain old gray stuff. And now that Listia takes up all my time, I haven't actually made any jewelry in ages.

I have no idea where that came from. Seems to me I've had correspondence with her before, she might even have won some things from me, I can't recall exactly but I blocked her account so she can't comment any more, and I won't bid on anything of hers by mistake. That blocking is very handy!

Has always you have great things love getting stuf from you when I can, I know what you mean about selling finished items. I have tryed all the web sites it is really the luck of the draw. Just trying to make a few more items and take them to this new store that opened up in our downtown area that buys handmade items and see what happens. Hopefully I can win the wire...lol Thanks so much for putting your items up.

You are most welcome. I think the problem is that so many people love to make beaded jewelry, the supply far exceeds the demand. You see people wearing it all the time on TV shows, so beaded jewelry is popular, but when you go into a shop or online, there are so many choices that probably, the vast majority either don't sell, or only sell if they are so cheap that it's just not worth it for the seller. Also, a lot of elaborate jewelry comes out of Asia really cheap. It's really hard to compete, I feel for you.

Try to have fun with it, that's my best advice. Or find something that is selling for $100 in a catalog, copy it, and then tell buyers ... LOOK, you can have mine for a lot less! I dunno, I should try to consign some of the jewelry I make too, but it's a lot of work for very little money.

Anyway, I'm so glad you love my items! You can always check out everthing I have listed very easily, just:
* Search natahoa
* Specify the Arts & Crafts category to see only my beads and findings.
* List them "ending soonest" to see what is ending this weekend, often very nice bargains!

You'd like it. This is the BEST beading wire! Unfortunately, this is my only lot of these. I have some plain Soft Flex on hand, probably more than I'll ever use. Maybe I'll list some of that.
