I opened the package to test the light. The empty package is to the left of the keychain. As you can see, the light illuminates via:

> super bright LED bulb
> durable sliding on/off switch
> swivel keyring
> batteries that are included

The keychain's light encasement is made of hard, durable plastic. The keychain itself is of circular metal.

There is some storage wear on the package but the keychain is new and unharmed.
