Three generations of racing. No other family has made an impact on the sport of stock car racing like the Pettys. Throught NASCAR's 50 - year existence there has always been a member of the Petty family on the track. In 1986, Kyle becase the first third generation driver to win a Winston Cup event, and with a record 10 Winston Cup Championships to their credit, the Petty's are the winningest family in NASCAR history.
The sequential numbers on Petty's stock cars symbolize the continuity of this unique racing legacy:
#42 Lee's '57 Oldsmobile
#43 Richard's '70 Plymouth Superbird
#44 Kyle's '97 Pontiac Grand Prix

I'm a collector and my kids are all grown and flew the nest years ago. No children (if I win) will ever be allowed to touch these. They will be enclosed with the rest of my collection in a glass case that only I have the key to. I'm sooo mean lol

Thank you! My husband been one for years also he loves it. But he has to much stuff and wants to make room for new stuff so he got rid of a LOT of old stuff! Your son will love this as long as he don't play with the cars it will be great value in years to come. I know we NEVER let our kids play with ANYTHING from the man cave it stays LOCKED at all times lol

Hahah we have a man cave a well in our finished basement. My son has one collectors car for dale #88. And he never touches. I've explained it's more like a picture it's to look at and not touch :) I have his current car in a glass case. He lovessss it
