THESE ARE SOOOO COOL! THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN OUT OF THE PKG AND THEY ARE BATTERY POWERED. LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY ON THE HANDS. (2 AA batteries-not included) Great for Arts and Crafts as well as sewing. I use mine because they are not only convienient, but they are much easier for my hands to use,(I have arthritis)Great for quilting and any craft needing alot of cutting. Includes measuring guide. I have a cheap hand held sewing machine but the material can only be 3/8" thick & I need it for something thicker. Do you know if this one would be able to sew material thicker than 3/8"?
