-The Phillies organization has had few people be as impactful as Dallas Green. He pitched 5 of his 8 seasons as a player with the Phillies but it was post-retirement that he really made an impact. As a manager, he led the Phillies to their first (and long awaited) World Series title in 1980. As an advisor, he helped Ruben Amaro build the team that won the second Phillies championship nearly 3 decades later.
-Tony Gonzalez was a star-quality outfielder who hit .295 over 9 seasons with the Phillies. He had 1485 hits for his career.
