Seller, don't be dumb. You can't refund after someone uses the code, because it STILL is added to their account, just because they don't heed that the disc is necessary shouldn't mean you pay for it, but the code will activate it on PSN. You might want to clarify that the refund would only be given if the buyer can prove that the code did not activate the DLC addon on PSN.

So the code isn't a traditional PSN code? Any psn code should be able to be redeemed from the psn store or under your account not just from the game.

You need the disc because on the main menu of the Alice Madness Returns game is where you can access the code/download.

Hey guys - figured I would clear up some info for you all as far as the code is concerned.

American McGee's Alice is ONLY accessible via the IN GAME MENU FROM THE PS3 DISC. Does it work? Hell yeah it will, but you won't be able to access it without the disc.

You might say, "Then what effing good is it?"

Well, if you get a used copy of the game and the key for the first game has been used already - then you could use this key with it.

If you still don't understand, then look at it this way. It's an upgrade for the disc.

How do I know? Personal experience, 100% I'm telling you because I know for absolute fact with my own eyes right in front of me!

My ex purchased the disc version of the game. I had her input the code first so that we could see if it would play standalone without the disc. IT DOESN'T.

It is a DLC addon, which yes, you can download but you cannot access it without the full game, as you have to be inside the full game Madness Returns and at the TITLE SCREEN to be able to open the original game.
