This is a relist of this item. It was returned because the original buyer did not realize that the item being tested must be at room temperature, the volume must be set at the proper level (in the green area) and the tip must be touch only the stone being tested.

I have added a YouTube video to show the correct way to use the tester. It does work correctly, if you follow the directions in the video. If you turn the volume all the way up, it will give you false readings. Please watch the video if you are interested - you can fast forward through parts of it to watch the pertinent parts.

This is a used working Diamond Selector II Tester. It is used to determine a real diamond from a cubic zirconia. It comes with a leather case, an instruction manual, testing platform for loose stones, probe cover and battery. It takes a 9-volt battery when it needs to be replaced.

This is an excellent item to take to estate or garage sales.
