Is this recommended reading for the "woman" to find the values hidden or for the "men" to locate their hidden value? Needing to know if I should consider reading or encourage the reading of others..

It's both. Reccomended reading for both wives and husbands. However, it has somewhat of a fundementalist standard. I would look at reviews from your most trusted sources before bidding.. I use Amazon, but others are available......there should be user reviews there. Thank you for asking.
