These 3 pieces are made of genuine swarovski crystals, from right here in the US of A. Now, they are not marked, so I am not sure what that means, and I will find out for you. But the crystals sparkle like nothing other than swarovski. Rich, brilliant sparkles, brighter and more intense than diamonds.Impossible to catch on camera. At least mine.
These would be perfect for mother's day, or for that special lady with a May birthday, emerald is May's birthstone.
All 3 pieces are identical. Metal is silver plate, as is double curbed chain.
Earring wires are elegant sterling silver earring hooks.
Lobster clasp is larger sized, and is silver plated.

thanks so much to all of you, especially those who have lost their moms, and taken the time to pay tribute to them on this page. this has made this such a meaningful auction for me. there aren't enough words or ways to express completely how amazing and incredible moms are. and that's not just all your moms but you who ARE moms.....you know this is all about you too!
(my kids are all 4 legged, it's just not quite the same.....)

guess this is a bit of a tough time for us, patty, as you too just brought more tears to my eyes. i am so sad that you have lost your mom as well. my mom passed away in 1994. and i too don't go a day without wishing so bad she was still here, and i still talk to her every day. and do you ever have those days when you wish so bad you could go back in time, and really really tell her just how uniquely important and special she will always be in your life? that's hard, having left some things unsaid. one of the great things about moms is lots of times they know without you having to tell them.......'cause often they felt the same about their moms. i love you mom, and i will always need you.

i hope to get this for my mom its her birth stone her birthday is may 4th she lost her mother in march of this year and her son just had to go to jail and her other son left for iraq i hope this will cheer her up

oh, such a tough story to hear. people are really getting slammed with the most difficult of times these days. your mom must be a very strong lady. give her a big huge hug for me (my birthday is may 4 too). and just let her know i will be thinking of her and whispering a few prayers. even when you don't know someone, you can be touched deep in the heart and soul about what life deals them.

oh, i don't think i mentioned anything about diamonds, and of course no, these are not diamonds, real or fake. they are swarovski crystals. it would take too long here if you are not familiar with these, you can find some good information about them on the internet. i found a very good write up about them in wikipedia. they are a high quality crystal stone, similar to rhinestones. the process for creating these exquisite stones was developed post WWII, i think, by a family with the last name of Swarovski. me too! well, i never had much jewelry. my favorite has always been earrings. and in my work, i couldn't wear much else because my "patients" would tear everything off me! and after i got so sick, i didn't fool with jewelry at all. since i have joined listia though, i am having a ball with the jewelry and i do have trouble sometimes with earrings since i haven't worn them in so long. but i would say with these, they would work very well for tender ear lobes!

how heavy are the earrings ?

i just put one on to double check. they have no real discernable weight to them. very comfortable, no tugging on the earlobe. i was a little worried about that when i ordered the pieces. but these i think are the kind of earrings you could wear with no problems for any occasion, and especially for lengthy events, such as weddings, that sort of thing.
thank you for dropping by! and your interest in my auction! very good question too. the weight of an earring is something i have to pay attention to because if they are a bit heavy, it does tend to irritate my earlobes, and that gets really uncomfortable.

well, you brought tears to my eyes...so sad to hear of your loss.
i was thinking of course of my mom first when i wrote that, but also of so many very awesome women that have been such an important part of my life. very, very special women.
i lost my mom quite a while ago, but there is not a day that goes by that i don't shed a few tears, have a conversation or two with her. these relationships are one of a kind, they only come once in a lifetime, and sometimes we don't realize quite how very special they are before it's too late. so i hope everyone who visits this auction does stop and think of the women in their lives, and takes the time to tell each and every one of them how special they are. these words alone are such a priceless gift.........don't let an opportunity pass you by, you might not get another chance.
