Questions & Comments
Its not PCGS certified anymore, because the case was opened and it was taken out and is now uncirculated. More correct information is needed for people to actually bid on this. My husband has been collecting coins/ paper $for over 40 years and buys from one of the most known Coin catalogs ( Littleton Coin Company ). His collection is Beautiful . You can't advertise a $10 Certificate in excellent condition if it has a tare in it right? Same difference with fingerprints, and taken out of a PROOF SET.
I never claimed it was ever PCGS certified. I have enough information in the listing and I don't need you to tell me what to do. The item is as described and as pictured. The item already has a bid of 9.99 XNK which, if we use the 14ยข per XNK conversion rate, someone is willing to pay $1.40 for it, and the auction ends tomorrow and there will be more bids. The fact that it has a bid blows out of the water what you said about the coin being worthless and shows that you don't know what you are talking about. You're not following my lines of reasoning and you can't win an argument with me with logic, so please cease from commenting on my listings.
Just an fyi, this is actually worthless now without the set. And its now not considered proof bc its got finger prints on it now. Which you can see in the photo ;)
Just an fyi, you have no idea what you are talking about. It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It has silver in it, so at LEAST it is worth the silver value. Glad you learned something today (for free) from one of Listia's top coin sellers (ME) and someone who has sold professionally for many years.
I did not learn anything new. You can call any Professional Coin company /Coin store and they will say the same thing. Its basically worth 25 cents or whatever the weight in silver. It WAS WORTH MORE before it was taken out of the proof set and manhandled!
Originally, you said it was worthless, now you are saying it is "basically worth 25 cents or whatever the weight in silver." You're contradicting yourself and showing your lack of knowledge. You can call a coin shop and they will say EXACTLY what I wrote below. Sure, it's worth more if it wasn't taken out of the set (I DID NOT do that, but I acquired it from a collection), but it is also worth more if it is PCGS certified. So what? We are not talking "what ifs" here; I am selling the coin as is and it is as described. What else?
