The listing, Handmade greeting card using vintage paper and postage stamps has ended.
The winner of this auction will receive the handmade greeting card pictured here. I made it using a colorfully retro endpaper from an old children's ex-library book called Gravity is a Mystery and vintage cancelled stamps from France and England. And glue. It measures 4" by 4" and comes with a new white envelope which fits it well but needs to be gummed or taped shut -- the flap lacks adhesive.
A note on the card: the book was old and the paper nice and heavy, but folding it to make the card rubbed the edges a bit at the top where the fold lies. It's made in that old fashioned folded style and there's a little "bonus" message that can be read on the white side when the card is unfolded: "Gravity is a Mystery."
I hope that you enjoy this quirky card as much as I enjoyed making it.
Thanks for looking, and thanks for your bids.
