Was never used for just drinking, only filled brita bottle and then put into 16.9 oz bottles! This bottle is dishwasher safe and 1 filter can replace 150 plastic bottles of water! Excellent Value! It has the original filter only, the bottle doesn't tell anywhere on it how many oz it holds. It is rather bid and i would say it would hold at least 20 oz.
