These are pretty small for a nose ring. They are tiny delicate wires, no way they'd work for body piercing. 6mm is about 1/8 of an inch.

This is just such tiny wire I don't think you could get it through your skin without bending it. Findings like these are intended to bend easily so jewelry makers can use them. These also are silver plated, not sure if that is good for piercings.
