Emerald cut light amythest gemstone fading into clear. It does have some kind of marking inside,but I am waiting for my new eyeglasses to come in and even with a magnifying glass I could not read the marking. the gem is enclosed in silver? but mounted to a filigree style gold exterior around that and then its accented with 2 clear gem clips. May be diamond chips again I don't know but its very well made the gem is about 1/4 inch tall and has light amythest at the top fading into clear at the bottom

pretty piece, I think this is called a Amatreen (didn't spell that right) which is a combo of Amethyst and Citrine together.

Amethyst does fade like that I sell the crystals all the time. I believe the stamp says 14kgf (gold filled)
