John Romita SR. (not to be confused with his son John Romita JR) originally drew Amazing Spider-Man #100. 40 years later ASM #539 2nd print variant, the cover was made to look like the negative of #100. This comic is in Near Mint condition.

This comic book comes with C.O.A Certificate.

John Romita Sr, is probley the most famous comic book artist alive today. He has been drawing comics since the 1950's , Timely Comic, who later became Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Atlas Comic, but in the 1960's he became the #1 top artist at Marvel Comics. He began drawing The Amazing Spider-Man in the 1960's on issue #39 and to this day still does covers on some imporant Spider-Man comics (like the Obama issue). John Romita Sr. is now 82 years old, and one of the nicest people I've ever met in the comic industry. He has been working with Stan Lee since the 1950's. In 2002 he was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame. He is the father of John Romita JR. another Spider-Man artist.

The chance to own this comic is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity. I don't have another one like it. I personally did an autograph signing with both John Romita SR and John Romita JR during the release of the Wolverine movie, that when the picture was taken. I'm also an authorised PGX comics signature witness.

The 35mm film shows the black version spider-man, perfect to have in the back of this book!

Wow jim good pick for a listia listing. This is one of my favorite story ark. It's the beginning of the repercussions of the civil war ending. And the reason spidey chose to wear black again.

Yes, a second Autographed Amazing Spider-Man, Issue #546 to be exact, and it's in Mint Condition! It is signed by John Romita Jr, (JRJR) son of the legendary artists John Romita SR! This comic ASM # 546, marked the return of John Romita Jr, as the artist on Amazing Spider-Man. JRJR drew the 2nd story located in the back of this comic book. From that point on JRJR took over Amazing Spider-Man again for awhile. JRJR was also the main artists on Spider-Man in the 1980's. His dad SR. was the the artist in the 60's and 70's , and still today occasionally at the age of 82.

Both comic books has their own COA, so you will have one for each comic.

This awesome auction just went over the top!
