The listing, Ceramic - 4 little ash trays and a butter dish has ended.

Ok, I admit this is an odd combination, but it was part of a set from an estate. It's either ceramic or china - not sure because there are no markings on it. I put a tape measure by them so you can get an idea of the size. They are very pretty with gold edging and delicate purple flowers. Total weight is a 11-1/2 oz so I have to ask for help with the shipping.

are the smaller dishes long enough to hold an ear of corn , with little corn skewers? i like this set...already fanned, watching, and will be bidding!

That's a really interesting idea, but they are only 3-1/4 long from tab to tab. Maybe a 1/2 ear of corn? I'm pretty sure they were intended for ash trays back when lots of people smoked, but that's a cool repurposing idea! Thanks for watching. Fanned you back.

If there's a signature on the back these look like antique corn plates to me.Worth about $100 from sales Ive seen. Do not microwave with gold trim.

Thanks for thei nfo! If there were markings of any sort, they are gone. They could be old because as I said, they came from the estate of a relative.
