Description

The listing, Locking Gas Cap and 1 (one) Key has ended.

I hate this......
It does exactly what it says it will...
Lockes the tank, but for the devil of me,
I cannot get it off.
Service station attendents never seem to have an issue...
so it's apparently just me.
Anyway, I got a regular one.
This one has been kicking around
for over a year...on the floor of my car.
Time for it to go....
If you have unscrupulous people
lurking around your
neighborhood (with the price of gas)
maybe you need this item,
and, after all,
It's
FREE!

Questions and comments are always welcome.
Thanks for taking a gander at my auction.

Nice looking old fur-buddy avatar, Bob. I am sorry about not being more specfic.

I looked it up online.I am sure that this is the one.

I don't think that a '95Nissan Altima cap will fit aChevy S10.
Thanks for asking though, and keeping me on my toes.

dozer69, I would check the auto parts link above for the modle number of this unit, then check the model number for your 2003 dodgeram 1500.

Memaw, I responded to a similar question below. Simply follow the link (put it in the address bar) and input your vehicle model in and query. It should be simple. I am pressed for time, but I'm sure it will be worth the effort if you find that it does fit. I am guessing, but I wouldn't think that a Japanese Compact would use the same size gas cap as a full size American pick-up truck.

Maybe if your that pressed for time you shouldn't list.I usually investigate items that I list to help out fellow listians so that I could list or have all of the information available to answer their questions.I would bid but sorry I am pressed for time, lol.

LOL! Thanks memaws, I just came home from a family event celebrating my first birthday since my near-fatal heart attack not long ago.Seems that my pre-birthday presents were two stents and an ambulance ride. I chuckled aloud when I read your post. It seems that we all have different priorities in our lives. I think that's what makes the world interesting.
As far as posting information, I do not research for others because if there is any confusion about an item, I do not want the transaction to fall apart over misinformation on my part. That is why I offer links to info, generally. I don't look up postal costs either. When I have asked for help with postage, I will ask for about half of what I expect to pay for postage, but asking for shipping help is the exception and not the rule.
I think that it is much more empowering to find appropriate information on one's own than to have it spoon-fed. But as a parent, grandparent, educator, and curriculum author and advisor, I tend to lean toward a "teach a man to fish" kind of direction.
If you don't, I understand. The wonder of living is such a diverse nation is that we can have diverse opinions, express them openly..... and live in relative harmony. Thanks for looking at my auction and for considering to bid. I wish you all the best, in your auctions whether you are bidder or lister.

Well I dont think I can top that one, lol.I am glad to see that obviously you are here so you are ok.Compared to what to you have been through this is just a speed bump in the road.I apologize for the assumption and misunderstanding.I just try to help with information for our listians from the internet to try to ease their bidding pain.I understand each individual has their own site rules and I respect that.I wish you all the days of health and happiness,God Bless.

I appreciate the nod..... no harm, no foul. The one thing I love about The Listia Community is its diversity. It also serves to reinforce my belief that open and honest communication is the grease that makes a fine machine run well. Descriptionsseem to run the gambit, based on the experience and ambition of the lister. I am so "ambitious," for this particular item to stop rolling around the inside of my car.... marketing it is just not as big a priority as giving it away FREEEEE!
