The 2002-W West Point Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar was struck to commemorate the founding of the West Point Military which was signed into law on March 16, 1802 by President Thomas Jefferson.
This coin is also only 1 microscopic flaw away from being a "PERFECT COIN" with the open fields on it so clear and mirrored that it also received the "DEEP CAMEO" addition to the grade.
